MAMA MIA themed baby shower
With a sister named Mia, Elle couldn’t help but go all the way with this theme for her surprise baby shower! We incorporated a cocktail hour and seated alfresco dinner into the event, stretching it into a whole afternoon & evening affair, giving mama Mia plenty of time to converse and interact with all of her family and friends. Elle loves adding unique spins on typical showers, and turning them into fun parties that all of the guests enjoy and feel comfortable at. Stay tuned for an upcoming blog post about Peyton’s Baby in Bloom shower, complete with a ‘build your own bouquet’ station hosted by Elle at the Greenhouse Venue!
Some of Elle’s favourite details
— Having it being a seated dinner! Guests got to be cosy in their spot complete with a blanket & glass of wine throughout the evening and it made the longer event so fun & cosy! Mia loved the longer event length to be able to actually connect with each guest!
— The glass straws as favours! Holy moly I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so many compliments or oooh’s and aaah’s from any event detail ever!
— The butterfly shaped watermelon pieces, obsessed! It’s all in the little details!!
— The ‘Donna’ dress code!!!! I’m telling ya, the guests outfits made the shower!!!!
— The linen signage! This was my first event doing linen signage & I loved how it looked so much!!!
— Mia’s reaction when she saw the shower - burst into tears which made all of us sisters putting it together tear up too!!
